SonTek, in partnership with the Cal Poly Irrigation Training and Research Center (ITRC) and the CSU Chico Agricultural Teaching and Research Center (ATRC) offered a two-day workshop focusing on flow measurement and data collection "best practices" as it relates to canal operations.
Application Engineers, Janice Landsfeld and Diego Davis, will held both a classroom discussion and field demonstration on the latest in acoustic Doppler instrumentation and technique. Jeff Davids from Davids Engineering will be featured as the guest speaker.
Dr. Stuart Styles of the ITRC presented a workshop on advanced flow measurement with a detailed section on metergates, weir sticks, flume design, transit time acoustic meters and magnetic meters.
