SonTek, in partnership with Aanderaa Data Instruments, held a three-day technology user workshop in Bergen, Norway April 12-14. The workshop focused on basic Doppler methodology and provided participants the opportunity for hands-on training and access to theoretical and practical field sessions.
Attention was given to the unique features of instruments such as the RiverSurveyor, the SonTek-IQ and SL Series and the CastAway-CTD. Special focus was given to SonTek’s latest enterprise – the FlowTracker2 handheld acoustic Doppler velocimeter (ADV).
Attendees represented Sweco Norge AS, Statskraft Sverige, The Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE), Agder Energi, COWI AS, and BKK Production AS.
