Project: Hydrological balance computation in limestone aquifers
SonTek Applications Engineer, Lee Pimble, visited the Napoli area of Italy along with Temi Li Vigni (representing sales partner - Geosphera) to carry out a demo with the students on Hydrogeolgy course at the University of Sannio. As part of their studies they are monitoring the flows within the Grassano Park where the water source is the Matese mountain range, whilst being in the centre of an area of natural thermal springs. This area has a number of active volcanoes including Vesuvius (of Pompeii fame etc) to the south.
